Been a whole lot of FT3ing going on since the last post. A Gen2 member was quasi-qualified, there have been some comical crashes
and, most exciting, XT chased a mountain lion down the trail.
Its worth noting that the cat dropped XT, so outrunning is not an option.
The precip may taper off by ride time, but its probably going to be a little slick. For safety's sake, I should ride Cap'n's new bike so he doesn't try and get too rad.

Oh no, that there is an RV
Last week offered prime riding conditions with not a drop of rain. Just as Cap'n and I were ready to get going, XT drove up. Thus we made the mandatory minimum for a proper FT3. We had good intel on which trails were cleared of downed trees, so Ride Leader was able to avoid them. The cleared trails, that is. Our reconnoitering identified plenty of other trails that were nearly impassable.
Of course, the highlight of the evening was returning to the Knot Lot when we saw Cousin Eddie.
I mean, the resemblance is uncanny....
Cap'n and I got to reconnect with some long absent riders over the weekend. Its clear what missing FT3 does to one's fitness.
Fortunately, NoHandle has committed to a new training regimen.
