Ham's Station

A six pack of Long Riders met near Bonetti Road to commemorate Memorial Day in proper FT3 style. Half were equipped with cross bikes and slick tires, two brought road bikes, and NH chose to mount his new Storcqk.
All agreed that riding road bikes is way more fun when there aren't any cars.


Choking back sobs, Newb had to turn back early.


A surprise to no one, RG went off the front to get to the lunch stop. So, he was the first to learn that the kitchen was closed.
We made do.


Xteric decided to update his twitter account.

Ride stats: ~95 miles, ~11,500'

But, that was yesterday. And today is Tuesday.

    Ironically, twice in a row as someone commented on how it had been hrs since we saw a car, bam! one came around the corner, one time towing a huge trailer and taking up the whole road (which we had previously taken up all of)

    Where was that B? Doesn't look like Shasta or Lassen. Speaking of which, I may head back up to Shasta next month. If I do go, I'll try again from Bunny Flats. If any of you are interested in going, send me an email.
