The video above may have already been viewed here but it's fun to watch again! Perhaps RG is rolling on his road bike in the famous mountains of Utah! He is the RG after all (whether it be on a road or mountain bike). *Edit by B below* FTSki!

Spring is here. One!
As spring rolls forwards, more road bikes are seen out and about on the road.

Two. Great Vid Safety. I think I'll stick w/Phat tires tonight.
ReplyDeleteIs it a full moon tonight? I'm sure it will be a bit dryer than last week for sure.
A moon calendar indicates that there will be 98% visibility tonight with the full moon tomorrow. I too will stick with fat tires tonight.
ReplyDeleteGotta sit tonight out for two reasons: 1, dr.'s orders are no riding for 4 weeks. I think that's a little excessive, but will adhear to at least one week off. And 2, I will be attending a rail corridor meeting to voice the reasons why a bike path is beeter than a tourist train from 6-8pm. Might try and meet up for tacos. Anyone down for some polly wood play on Friday!?!
ReplyDeleteFIVE!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photos B, it looks like you, Long Dog, and CapnCappy had a great time out there! I'm wondering if RG is going to put in an album with his current rides.
ReplyDeleteCan't make 2 wheel ride to the Knott B, so I'll see Capn Cappy at the squito lot.
ReplyDeleteThe FTSki adventure was nothing short of Epic and that is not an overuse of the word by any means. I will save the savory points for in-person story telling for those present this evening.
ReplyDeleteI capped off the FTSki adventure with some good food and old friends in Carson City, spent the night there then did a solo SS ride in Ash canyon in the Carson Valley. There are some worthy trails in Carson, not to mention cheap hotels. I am very supportive of a FT3 LRP that drops into Carson for an overnight stay and they long ride back up the hill to Tahoe.
B, check out the new photo added.
ReplyDeleteIndeed there are very secret waterfalls near me. This is the "small" one. The other locals say the big one is closer to 100 feet. i've not been to the biggie yet.
The Falls are secret and you must cross private property and only "locals" are allowed. My boys love it.
Thanks for adding the photo THTH. Wow, secret water falls! Is there going to be a call out to see them?
ReplyDeleteNoHandle, please use the FT3 calendar to assign a date for a FT3 Gen 2 trip to the secret waterfalls. I am sure the other boys and girls of FT3 would love them too.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I am going to puch out the Cronin - EDH - EDT ride one week to maximize FT3 participation, cause that's how we roll..... standby for calendar update and e-mail re-send
ReplyDeleteCappy - Cappy Jr. has already been there as have many of his coneys.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Croneys, er I mean Cronin - glad you pushed it out.
Sweet calendar Safety.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to use your handle.
ah yes, the roadies have blossomed like daffodils on the EDT. I passed five this afternoon, resplendent in their high-vis yellow windbreakers.
ReplyDeleteWon't have time to make the roll-up. Any chance I can get a Valero pick-up?
ReplyDeleteJust returned from 20 miles of Black and Double Black Diamond riding. Amasa Back-Pot Hole Arch-Rock Stacker-Captain Ahab. I won't be announcing my taco handle out here, so many rocks to be humbled by.
ReplyDeleteThe riding is super technical, always working it. The scenery is phenomenal. I'll post pics later. Need to clean up and eat. A taco and beer are on the menu.
"Black and Double Black" - skiing, biking, XXX movies and waterfalls. Wow, what a blog.
ReplyDeleteI'll meet capn at squito lot and request Valero pickup for Nocar.
