  1. Two!

We should deploy a rain gauge in the Lott to get a baseline "wettest FT3 on record".

  2. From a back channel communique relating to skiing, it appears RG will be using Standard Excuse #7: Too Much Work and Standard Excuse #22: Sore Knee.

  4. Three. This one took considerable effort. You know when you ride and race a lot you are constantly preparing for your next ride. Today i was trying to fix the bunk tensioner i somehow rendered useless three miles from the finish line at the cool race sunday. Alas..i was certainly sitting in the top five and definitely prepared to give it my all when the piece of shit threw my chain. Hence the need for a tensioner swap today and a new single speed convertable frame in the future.

  5. If all goes well we should be rolling out with lights off tonight.

  6. Wow i am in and still catching shit. Tough hcf today. Bottom line... there is no good chain tensioner.

  9. I'm using strategic logic. Less bike and body wear during one ride today will equate to additional rides later in the week or month.

I seem to remember several FT3 members falling off the map for extended periods due severe equipment failure; one in particular with a transparent taco handle has yet to return.

  10. BTW - these 'publish codes' are becoming a PITA; I'm getting dual level 4 crypto entries these days. Maybe it's my obvious transition to non-participant status.

  12. Looks like the stick in the wheel did more damage than I thought last week: bent rotor, busted limiting screw, and torqued derailleur hangar. It's enough to make a man want to paint Peter Eggs with RG.

  13. Of course, this will b my third ride in the rain today, so I obviously haven't a whit of common sense.

  14. At the same time, hats off to the uncommon lads of FT3 who are actually riding tonight.

    Keep the rubber side down.
