Confession

Forgive me FT3, for I have sinned.

It has been three weeks since my last Tuesday.

In that time I have abandoned my bicycles.
On two occasions I drove a car to work.
And worst of all, I debased myself by performing podophilic actions; including walking, hiking, even... jogging.

To atone for my trespasses I will ride to the Knot Lot and I will say twelve "Hail RideLeaders".

Hail RideLeader,
Full of pace,
The Pack is with thee.
Blessed are thou around Pollywood,
and blessed is the rubber of thy wheels.
Hail RideLeader,
Chooser of trails,
Command us riders now,
Unto the hour of tacos.

  1. Why do I feel guilty and ashamed?

  2. This is really scary. Clearly NoCar is a recovering Christian (as am I) - I read way too much into his post. Great post, short and funny.
    Four.

  3. Some may think I skipped LOtB's post and did not apropriately recognize his count off (or lack of) but I have it on high authority that he is "In" tonight. Maybe C-Man will join us as DRL runs us around the wood.

  4. Five! As long as agnostic heathens are welcome.

    1. Just to clarify, I am a devout believer in the Church of Two Wheels that is unless my motorized variations put me in the heathen category.

  5. Our Leader which art in Polly
    Hallowed be thy Name.
    Thy Kingdom come.
Thy route be done in dirt
    As it is in pavement
Give us this day our weekly tacos
    And forgive us our collisions
As we forgive them that collide into us.
And lead us not into temptation (rye)
    But deliver us from Pain
    For thine is the complex
    The powerline, and the gory
    For ever and every Tuesday
    amen

    5!

    1. I stand corrected, and equally ashamed, 6! It has been almost 6 weeks since my last FT3. Since 666 is the sign of the unholy one, I shall make penance on this night, or be doomed to fire and brimstone!
