Wet Lube

After some two months of perfect riding conditions, FT3 will finally be faced with a little adversity. Though nothing compared with what we've dealt with previously.

Showers may persist through ride time. Soils are saturated, puddles everywhere, wet brush hanging into the trail, and temps will be relatively high. Full water proofs will be sweaty, good time for a fender.

  1. Hard to say if NoCar is in or not but giving him the benefit of the doubt - Two.

  2. I am out on account of the need for a good nights sleep and a good spin on the road bike. As much as I would love to be able to ride FT3, eat tacos and drink beer and feel great for a huge race on Thursday, I think this is the best choice. Back next week with a full race report.

    1. Good luck Cappy. I hope the course is hard and the conditions are awful so your FT3 training is at full advantage. Too bad the race isn't at night.

    1. I guess that's worth skipping FT3 and spending the day in Nevada for an hour of biking, if you're in to that sort of thing.

    2. Point well taken. It was certainly a consideration as I threw down the cash to register. But then I am into that sort of thing.

    3. At least I didn't fly all the way across the country like some of the other suckers. I don't even have to stay in a hotel! But I do "have" to miss FT3 :(

    4. If the FT3 was good, you still feel it on Thursday.

  5. Is buttons "taking drougs" or just taking them while off the street?
Good luck cappy. Don't tell all the Nationals about the super sweet riding up in pollyworld.
