LET NOOBIE RIDE

It's Newb's birthday today. So, I'm pretty sure nothing will stop him from riding tonight.

Other riders may offer excuses. Our Dear RideLeader is afraid of threatening the authority of the Supreme RideLeader if he shows up. Such perceived insurrection could land one in a taco-less death camp.

In fact, Team One (remember that clique), has made a poor showing of late. Fortunately, NoHandle provided a sufficient quorum at the Taco Table for a Modification of Normal Taco Protocol to pass. Baskets are now served family style. This system should reduce acts of aggressive taco grabbing.

Balmy temps, pre-dark start, and give-it-all-you-got trail conditions, should be a mighty fine night.

TWO!

  1. Great Post Nocar! One of these weeks I might make a surprise showing. Who knows.

  3. Four. And while it is true that my birthday does fall on a Tuesday this year, the truth is that it is next Tuesday. Which also happens to be St. Patties day. Should be a great Tuesday tonight though, I mean it's mountain biking and tacos!

    1. You couldn't just pretend like it was this week for the sake of the blog post. I guess I got confused with all of those holidays being thrown around.

  5. I'm out. But since I am not going to ride the Solvang Century this weekend I would like to do something more rad, like a sweet HoBo Ride or maybe a HoBo modified. Saturday night, throwing it out there, let me know if there is any interest.

    1. Cappy, did you see the reference to Team one in the call out. Maybe you can threaten to show up tonight and set things right.

  6. I'm out, glad it is not your BDay New, although for a moment I thought that was cool as it is my brother's bDay, but then when I considered sharing my saint-sakes day with your bday and that I get to ride w/you next week it is so much better.

  7. I hope it starts raining tonight about an hour or 90 minutes after you turn on lights - that should be about perfect.

  8. The big question is: Will PC make it tonight and reclaim his gloves, or endure another week of riding with naked fingers?

  9. Out with nasty cough and such. I'm a poster child for why you should carry disinfectant gel with you. I will return one day. Hopefully on a holiday! Go spft3!!
