Sunday Ride

Anyone in for a Sunday morning ride? I don't know any better way to celebrate our countries independence then rolling out of bed early on the 5th of July and spending a couple hours on skinny tires talking about what is going on in France.

On a similar but slightly different note, we did to find a new meeting location. Any ideas?

Sunday 7:30 @ ???????

Until we ride again,

  1. OK, now I feel like I'm starting to miss out on something, sounds like some great activities back in the hood. Congrats Councilman for becoming a 'senior' member of FT3; you will now have source access to my special Czech go fast ointments for old guys. B never ceases to amaze with his exploits and fueled by Del Taco no less. In-Law scores the job, No-Taco lining up for new digs, weddings, and LOtB fully recovered, but still sticking to cycling forum protocol and not posting Capn's softball scores.

I'm in Bend now and I'll be rolling out on the McKenzie River Trail tomorrow, this was Trail of the Year in Bike Magazine, should be fun; 27 miles of 'trailgasm' as they put it. I was able to score a shuttle and preserve the tenuous mobile DTI - Domestic Travel Index, as I believe the councilman coined it.

We spent 5 days in West Glacier and 3 Days in Coure 'd Alene (CDA), where it was a balmy 75 degrees and no wind during our stay, a very nice place but very Fox News white. I hooked up with a former Santa Cruz FoF and did a knarly day of dirt biking, just endless trail possibilities in Idaho.

Bend is just plain cool, a very hip happening place that I could easily live for a spell.

Happy Independence Day! - We do live in a great country.

I'll post a MRT ride report in the next couple days.

    Out. Rock God
