I was thinking that Lars would make his return on the same night C-man made his return. Alas, C-man is going under the knife, and Lars is in Mars. SOoo... there is still a chance they will both return on the same day. But wait, Lars didn't actually go anywhere.
I would like to table a topic for discussion this evening and on the HCF. I have changed my schedule and am therefore available for an earlier meet time at the Mosquito lot. I am not sure if that would work for others but I thought I would throw it out there. I think Xterric and Bambi might require a later meet time/roll out.
We've had little success with "on-time" roll outs. For so many reasons someone is always a little bit behind (I'm as guilty as anyone). If your goal is to extend Preber time, then sure.
Wow. Isn't that sweet. B and NoCar going all back and forth about who has the longest rider streak. Alas, neither one of you can claim you haven't missed rides. AND it's about time. I think the streak to be beat is the missed rides streak held by, uh, let me see if I can remember... there once was a rider named...
I'm out, but totally legit this time. After a successful 90 mile ride in wintery mix conditions Saturday, on Sunday in perfect conditions I proceeded to crash hard on the motorcycle, ending the day with a trip for chest x-rays. It was one of only a handful of times (<5) that I've ended a ride with a crash.
No broken ribs but the cartilage is tweaked. I broke my chest protector and had a windless panic moment & big scare fearing internal injuries. I'm doing fine now with supplied Hydrocodone; I can see where one could get hooked on these things.
My mother-in-law is in town. So, sadly, I'll have to miss having dinner with her tonight. Two.
ReplyDeleteWill you be wearing your leopard print dress or your storm trooper costume, Cappy?
ReplyDeleteThat mother-in-law post might be the best HCF post ever.
ReplyDeleteNo, I'll be properly donning my FT3 kit.
Great call out captain and awesome HCF post Nocar! I thought the SSWC only occurred in San Francisco! Everyone around the world is catching on.
ReplyDeleteFour!

ReplyDeleteI got a bounced out of town email from NoHandle.
ReplyDeleteAre the El Dorado High boys going on to play basketball against Brazil tonight? Or did they lose to Ghana last week?
I hope its a home game.

ReplyDeleteRemember that other long lost FT3er who rides a Ti mtn bike. Not the guy with the chianti addiction, the other one. What was his handle again?
ReplyDeleteOr is he out on a dock?

ReplyDeleteBack Channel from Xteric, he's up on a derrick. But, will be back in time to ride tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe one called Rock
ReplyDeleteMay be lost from the flock
But at least he's free
Of a knife near his...
This whole thread is gold. Thanks for cheering me up. Looking at a send off from 'squito. Keep me posted on early/late arrivals.
Wonder if my new handle shouldn't be C-section...
You'll definitely have the best scar for show and tell.

Have fun and keep the rubber side down.
Dang I hate to hear man down reports.
ReplyDeleteRock, I think you should stick to the motorless cycles.
It is notable here that the 90 mile 'ride' on Saturday was also on a motorized cycle.
May I request a Valero pick up?
ReplyDeleteNocar, forget about skipping out on dinner. Bring your mother-in-law along to qualifier!
