Tuesday Again?!?!?!

Yeah, I am out. But the ride goes on...

All are well in the Barnes house. Elliot Matthew Barnes is doing great, Cap'n you can still call him Lance if you want. We all know he will ride a bike like Lance so the nickname will work. Just so you all know, Herb Elliot was undefeated in international racing from 1958-1962 in the 1500 and mile (yes running) in addition, Elliot won the 1960 gold medal and set a world record in Mexico City.

5:45 at Mosquito...Exit 54

Zero...although I might chase some cheese

Until we ride,
LOtB

  1. Elliot is the youngest member of FT3. Hasn't been out in the world more than a week and he has been issued two taco handle's; "NoHandle Jr." and "Lance," well in advance of learning how to to ride a bike or eat tacos. Did someone mention running? Is running that thing you do during cross races while you are not riding?

    ONE!

Tuesday is the opportunity to get some exercise, enjoy the mountain air and dust, pay off taco debts and talk about "Larz - Z tall one in Z hot red kit."

  2. TWO!

I'm back to work, Thursday deadline and already in need for a stress break. No dust in Bear Valley and Hermit Valley this weekend on the MC outing, the ground moisture diminished as we headed back north and west.

The DTI must be on the mend, as I returned from the weekend outing and saw that Debbie purchased two bottles of fairly high grade hot sauce (Blair's Pure Death and Boa Vidalia Onion and Jalapeno Pepper) and almost enrolled me in a hot sauce club. So it looks like FT3 still has the stamp of approval - or maybe she still just wants me out of the house - ah, either way, I'm in.

  3. 3. I'll be taking the back route to the sly tonight to save some time on the commute.
See you at the parking lot about 6:30.

I hope you don't need a tow or tool tonight, repayment from the slander... ;-0

  5. Alas, Councilman is in lockdown mode tonight. Oh how I pine for the Pines on Tuesdays...I did sneak out on Sunday afternoon, and did a bit more pruning on Barnesback. You should be nearly vine and branch free on your ascent/descent. Oh, had a near encounter with Mama bear and her 2 cubs up on Park Creek rd. That was a chamois changer. D@mn, they are fast. May the tacos be saucy, the beverages frosty, and the trail selection worthy of the FT3 name. Roll on my bruthas, and pray that our little rider joins the crew soon. REAL soon according to the Mrs....

  6. I will be joining tonight, I am going to try to get off work in time to meet at Mosquito. I can always drive people if a ride is needed.

BTW, I still am without a light for the week. I am going to try and get one this next week, just need to find one I like.

  7. OMG - Did you see the number of Emergency/Paramedic people on hand for the big Cheese Roll? Some serious rag doll decents...

Let's keep the rubber side down on FT3, that's a bylaw in my book.

  8. Bambi is out for the foreseable future. I will be trying to get some rrr, rrrru, rrrruns in while I am out of town. Elliott says he likes the name Matt. Councilman, at least the bear didnt run you down. A friend of mine got t-boned by a bear in Whistler last week. He had to spend rest of the trip in the hotel due to bruised ribs and badly injured shoulder and hip.
