Ride Report

Happy to make the taco and hydration portion of the ride last night with Padre. Although it seems like we missed a mighty outing. New trails and crashes marked the table side discussion. In addition there was some conversation around the SSFT3 being open to interpretation pending time of year and viability of the quiver. There may be a few CX rigs showing on the first Tuesday of July...we will see how it goes.

B put himself into Hot Sauce Hell with a unprovoked lashing of the Possible Side Effects...curious minds need an update of the situation?

Just finished watching an epic US Soccer battle, US scored the winner in the second minute of stoppage time and won the group! Fantastic!

  1. B joined me this morning to witness the nail biter US victory. While he was limping a bit, he blames last night's wreck, not the sauce.

Kudos to Cap'n for keeping the adventure alive and picking the exploration ride that produced real quality biking. And another nod to Nohandle who not only manned up and rode the crosser when his mountain steed was on stable rest, but he sacrificed his body to absorb the force of B's spill. A noble move, even though he didn't have a choice.

  2. I think I laughed more last night at FT3 refuelling and hydrating session than I ever have. That was good fun. I really needed a break, thanks. Glad I didn't actually break anything.

  3. Ride was so worthy, laughter was even better. Good times for sure. Another quality FT3 outing in the log books.

Notable highlights for me inlcude the discussion about bike friendly cities having a high number of "Bicycle Sprint Zones" and the fact that members of FT3 Gen Two are having discussions about rookie marks.
